Courses

Do you offer public scheduled courses?
Yes, all you need to do is choose the course you want and let us know. You can click here to view our course schedule.
Do you provide desk-side support or floor walking?
Yes, simply give us a call on 0191 377 8377 to let us know what you need, and we shall arrange it for you.
What are the timings of the public scheduled courses?
Our scheduled course timings are as follows:

Start Time: Delegates are asked to arrive at 9:15am, ready for a 9.30am start
Breaks:   10.45am -11.00am and 3.00pm - 3.15pm
Lunch: 12.30pm -1.30pm
Finish Time: 4:30pm
Can private courses be customised?
Certainly! You can choose to have a private course based on an existing course outline, or you can choose a number of lessons from separate course outlines and consolidate them into your own unique course.

Payment

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, our preferred method of payment is by credit card.

Are you able to invoice for training?
Whilst we do require an initial credit card payment from new customers, we can invoice. 30 day terms and conditions apply.
What are the booking conditions?
Scheduled courses require a minimum number of delegates for them to be viable.  It is at IT Training Solutions discretion that we may cancel a course should the minimum number of delegates not be met.  Alternative dates will be offered.  

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the backgrounds of delegates are suitable for the training course that they are attending.  IT Training Solutions will not be liable for any refund in the case where delegates do not meet the course prerequisites. If a course booking is cancelled or postponed by you, the customer, the following conditions will apply.
  • Where more than 10 working days notice is given 10% of the total fee will be charged.
  • Where 6 to 10 working days notice is given 50% of the fee will be charged.
  • Where 5 working days notice or less is given the total course fee will be charged.
What are the terms of payment?
Our preferred method of payment is credit card.  Alternatively, strictly 30 days from date of invoice.  Invoices will be raised up to 10 working days before the training is due to take place.
What are your cancellation terms?
If a course booking is cancelled or postponed by you, the following conditions will apply:
  • Where more than 10 working days notice is given 10% of the total fee will be charged.
  • Where 6 to 10 working days notice is given 50% of the fee will be charged.
  • Where 5 working days notice or less is given the total course fee will be charged.
Is there any funding available for courses?
IT Training Solutions are approved providers on the Business Link North East of England Service Provider Register (NEESPR). You may be able to apply for funding to support the services provided by IT Training Solutions.


About Your Course

What is the dress code for the training courses?
There is no dress code for the day, simply attend in what you feel comfortable in. Whether it is a business suit or jeans and a t-shirt, the choice is yours. If the training is held at the clients site, the usual site dress code may apply.
What course durations are available for private courses?
They can be the same length of time as the set outlines or have a customised course duration. Private courses can be as long or short as you like.
How do I find your training venues?

Do your training venues have disabled access?
Our venue in Newcastle has full disabled access including lift. Our venue in Washington is on the ground floor with one step into the building.
What should I wear on my course?
There is no dress code for the day, simply attend in what you feel comfortable in. Whether it is a business suit or jeans and a t-shirt, the choice is yours.
What do I need to bring to my course?
You do not need to bring anything to courses as we provide courseware, pens, paper and name cards. Just bring yourselves.
Can I park at your training venues?
Manors multi-storey car park offers nearby parking for courses held in Newcastle.

A limited number of allocated bays are available for courses held at our Washington venue, along with a large public car park a leisurely five minutes walk away. Please see the second page of our map for further details. Click here to view the map.
