Course Overview
Understanding the principles of finance, deciding what information you need to be looking at and recording data for the various regulatory bodies can be confusing. Indeed, collating the information can be time consuming when you also have a business to run. Similar problems are faced within the public sector and 'not for profit organisations' where it is crucial to ensure adequate controls are in place to achieve a surplus.
This course will benefit thosem who wish to communicate financial matters more effectively with colleagues and other departments regarding performance statistics and, therefore, need to fully understand accountancy jargon and appreciate how actions affect the bottom line.
This course will also benefit those who are starting a new business and need to know what records to maintain, or just require a refresher. As a result of this workshop delegates will be more aware of accounting principles and the elements that need to be recorded, measured and monitored.
To train as an accountant takes 4 years, but in this one day workshop delegates obtain practical financial tools and techniques in an enjoyable, action learning environment.
