Course Overview
This three day course focuses on introducing Java as an implementation language for object-oriented applications. It is therefore assumed that you are either currently working on such a project, will be joining such a project or generally have an interest in gaining this knowledge.
Intended Audience
The course is aimed at newly trained developers or developers experienced in a very different field wishing to make the transition to Java.
The course consists of instructor-led presentations and practical hands-on exercises. The practical sessions are structured to give the delegates the opportunity to put into practice some of the theory covered during the instructor-led sessions.
Prerequisites
- Be able to write simple Java applications based on a combination of any existing foundation expertise together with the knowledge gained through practicing the concepts covered in this course.
- Have a basic appreciation of the Java language, the delegate will be in a strong position to build on this knowledge by following the course's many leads to more advanced topics.
