What is Outlook?
Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager. Although often used mainly as an e-mail application, Microsoft Outlook also provides a calendar, task and contact management, note taking, a journal and web browsing.
Outlook can be used as a stand-alone application, but can also operate in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server to provide enhanced functions for multiple users in an organisation, such as shared mailboxes and calendars, public folders and meeting time allocation.
Course Overview
This course provides the delegate with the skills needed to start sending and responding to email in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, as well as maintaining the Calendar, scheduling meetings, and working with tasks and notes.
Prerequisites
- Delegates should have working knowledge of using a Windows PC, (preferably Vista) or have completed the Introduction to Windows course. Delegates should feel at ease performing tasks such as arranging, sizing and switching between Windows. Previous use of a keyboard and mouse is assumed for this course.
